UI/UX Designer

About the Position

We are seeking a talented UI/UX Designer to shape intuitive, elegant, and user-centered experiences for complex security systems. You will play a key role in translating advanced cybersecurity technology into clear, usable, and visually compelling interfaces.

What You Will be Doing

  • Design end-to-end user experiences for web-based cybersecurity products
  • Transform complex technical workflows into simple and intuitive user journeys
  • Create wireframes, user flows, prototypes, and high-fidelity UI designs
  • Collaborate closely with Product Managers, Developers, and Security Experts
  • Conduct user research, usability testing, and iterate based on feedback
  • Define and maintain design systems, UI guidelines, and visual standards
  • Balance usability, aesthetics, and security-driven constraints

What You Need for the Role

  • 3+ years of experience in UI/UX design for SaaS or B2B products
  • Strong portfolio demonstrating UX thinking and polished UI design
  • Experience designing complex systems, dashboards, or data-heavy interfaces
  • Proficiency with design tools such as Figma, Sketch, or Adobe XD
  • Solid understanding of UX principles, interaction design, and accessibility
  • Ability to work independently in a fast-paced startup environment
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills
  • Experience in cybersecurity, DevOps, IT, or enterprise software – Nice to have
  • Familiarity with design systems and scalable UI frameworks – Nice to have
  • Experience working with developers on implementation and handoff – Nice to have

Ken Zalevsky brings over 20 years of medical device cybersecurity experience to his role at C2A Security, where he serves as VP and GM, Medical Technology, following the acquisition of Vigilant Ops in October 2025. A former Bayer executive, Ken founded Vigilant Ops in 2019 after witnessing the consequences of inadequate technical preparation in the healthcare industry. He is an active contributor to CISA’s SBOM working groups and a frequent speaker on software supply chain security. Ken’s mission: transform SBOM from a compliance checkbox into operational intelligence that keeps patients safe while streamlining regulatory processes.
